Hey, just saw you on C-SPAN and thought you did a fantastic job. I was taken aback when I heard Marsh say that a government takeover of healthcare would promote an economic recovery by boosting corporate profits. It would have been nice to nail her on that, but I understand you couldn't spend the entire time on an economics lesson. Anyway, I liked what you had to say and I'll be following your blog from now on. Ne Cede Malis!
I enjoyed the CSPAN program. On your question about why you should pay taxes so Warren Buffet can have Medicare, I have asked the same question about Social Security. Why are my sons, for example, burdened with Social Security and self employment taxes so their dad and Warren Buffet (two completely different wealth profiles) who don't need the help, can collect Social Security. All that needless churning of dollars through Washington has resulted in massive expansion of government for no other purpose than massive expansion of government.
